What are the benefits of doing this and how will it change your Instagram account?
Having an Instagram Business account allows your viewers to contact you directly with a click. It ads a contact button on your profile and when clicked it shows an email /call / find options. You can choose the info you share and have available.
It also gives you insights into your followers and how your posts are performing.
Is there anything to be aware of if I change to a business account?
Yes, you need to have a Facebook Page account to link it to, and then once you have changed over, when you share to Facebook from Instagram, it will go to that Facebook Page and not your individual Facebook account.
But you can change back at any time to a personal account.
How do I switch to an Instagram Business Account?
Go to the settings page on your Instagram account on your device. Profile – Top right cog
Click Continue

Choose the Facebook Page you want to connect with
Set up the Instagram Business Profile
Here you can choose what information is displayed, you have have just your email or your phone number and address too. Be aware these will show on your Instagram profile page

To change back to a personal account just go back to your Instagram Profile page and click on Switch Back to Personal Account.
