Mummy Travels

Case study

The client initially came to me with a website that had been hacked and wasn’t working as it should.  I started off by fixing the site back end.

The I gave the site a make over.

The brief was for a magazine style, unfussy blog using the branding of the blue and black.

Together we found a theme that matched the basics and then I set it up and styled it, making social media icons to match.

The logo was designed by Lucy Kate Designs and I then incorporated it into the theme with matching font for the tagline

I can’t recommend Jo highly enough. After fixing a string of problems from a particularly nasty hack (which had stumped several other people) she’s also created the perfect redesign for the blog.

From my general wishlist of ideas, she provided great advice on everything from which themes to choose to the fonts on the header, as well as tactfully fielding some of my enthusiastic but less practical ideas, all while sorting out the technical side and customisation I’d asked for.

Always professional but easy to deal with, she kept me updated throughout, never seemed to mind answering any of my questions, however basic, and made sure I was happy with the every aspect of the finished product. In fact, I’ve already started recommending her.
